Job Purpose and Impact: The Laytime and Invoice Operator will provide exceptional customer service while engaging in basic laytime calculations, negotiations, and issuing freight invoices. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient export and import of commodities from seaports globally.
Key Accountabilities: Responsibilities include preparing charter parties, following up on laytime operations, and calculating demurrage. Collaboration with marine coordinators and finance teams is essential.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency in computer applications and understanding shipping administration is preferred.
