Job Description
Virtusa is currently seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to lead development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in Ruby and object-oriented programming principles. You will have deep expertise in Rails, including ActiveRecord, polymorphism, STI, APIs, and the MVC structure.
Your responsibilities will include writing clean, modular code using DRY principles, designing scalable SQL databases (PostgreSQL), and optimizing performance with caching strategies. Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and performance optimization is a plus.
