Job Title: Physical Education Teacher (PET)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and disciplined Physical Education Teacher (PET) to lead and coordinate sports and physical training activities for students of Grades 11 & 12. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in physical fitness, sports training, and youth motivation, aligning with the holistic development philosophy of Sri Chaitanya Institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute daily physical education classes for Intermediate students (MPC, BiPC, MEC, etc.).
• Design age-appropriate fitness routines, warm-up sessions, and basic yoga practices.
• Train and prepare students for intra- and inter-college sports competitions and events.
• Promote physical fitness, team spirit, and discipline among students.
• Identify students with athletic potential and encourage participation in specific sports.
• Maintain safety and discipline standards during physical activities.
• Organize sports meets, drills, and cultural physical activities during college fests.
• Maintain records of attendance, student performance, and participation in activities.
• Collaborate with academic faculty to ensure physical education complements academic development.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Strong communication skills in English and Telugu (preferred).
• Prior experience in a school/college setting is desirable.
• Ability to manage large groups of students with discipline and care.
• Energetic, motivated, and student-friendly attitude.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of sports rules, techniques, and strategies (especially popular school-level games like volleyball, kabaddi, athletics, etc.).
• CPR/First aid certification is a plus.
• Experience in yoga or martial arts training is an added advantage.
• Event management skills for organizing sports functions and annual days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,00.00 – ₹40,00.00 per month
