Job Description
The Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist manages patient billing, claim submission, denial resolution, and payment posting to maximize revenue and reduce aging. Responsibilities include verifying insurance, auditing accounts, following up on unpaid claims, preparing reports, and coordinating with clinical and insurance teams. Candidates should have 2+ years in medical billing, knowledge of CPT/ICD codes, proficiency with EHR/billing software, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet monthly targets.
