About the Role:
SARA INFOTECH is seeking a detail-oriented Charge Entry Specialist to join our healthcare billing team. You will enter patient charges into our billing system, ensuring accuracy in CPT, ICD, and HCPCS coding while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate entry of patient information and charges.
- Verification of correct coding per medical documentation.
- Correction of any data discrepancies to prevent claim issues.
- Reviewing insurance eligibility and coverage details.
- Coordination with medical coders and billing teams.
- Maintaining productivity and compliance targets.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in medical billing, knowledge of coding, and strong attention to detail.
