Roles and Responsibilities:
– Code and abstract information from provider patient medical records.
– Assign billing codes according to CPT-4 and ICD-10 guidelines.
– Monitor unbilled accounts and address inquiries.
Eligibility:
– Background in Life Science/BPT/Pharm/Nursing with Anatomy/Physiology knowledge.
– Minimum 1 year experience in coding principles.
– CPC-A certification preferred; specialization in Surgery coding.
