Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced English faculty member to teach students from Class VI to XII. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with the CBSE, ICSE, and SSC syllabi, and capable of nurturing students’ reading, writing, grammar, and literary analysis skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons as per the curriculum standards (CBSE, ICSE, or SSC).
- Cover literature, grammar, writing skills, and comprehension topics tailored to the class level.
- Classroom Management:
- Maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Motivate and support students of varying abilities.
- Assessment & Evaluation:
- Prepare question papers, conduct assessments, and evaluate answer sheets.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and provide feedback.
- Student Engagement:
- Conduct debates, elocutions, creative writing, and literary activities.
- Guide students for board examinations, Olympiads, or literary competitions.
- Parent Communication:
- Participate in PTMs and maintain open communication with parents regarding academic progress.
- Continuous Development:
- Stay updated with the latest trends in English teaching and board requirements.
- Attend professional development workshops and training sessions.Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in English or related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably with exposure to CBSE, ICSE, or SSC boards.
- Skills:
- Strong command of English language and literature.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Technologically proficient (experience with smart boards, online teaching tools is a plus).
