Job Overview: The Area Sales Officer will be responsible for driving secondary sales and merchandising by building and nurturing long-term relationships with retailers.
Key Stakeholders:
Internal: Marketing, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Sales Development
External: Retailers, Wholesalers, Distributors, Key Accounts customers
Reporting Structure: Reports to Sales Officer
Experience:
- 2-3 years of sales experience in FMCG/Pharma/OTC industry, preferred in channel management
- Product understanding
- Negotiation skills
- Good local geographical knowledge
- Fluency in local language
- Distributor Management
- Basic calculation of retail/distributor schemes
