Job Description
Join the Advanced Controls team as an intern and work on a lightweight, scalable historian system for Linux, designed for storing and analyzing time-series data from field devices. Your role will involve implementing a historian service that ingests high-frequency data using MQTT and stores it in TimescaleDB. You will also be responsible for testing the service, developing presentations to communicate progress, and participating in talent events.
To qualify, you should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s program in Computer Science or a STEM major, with proficiency in Java/Python and relational databases. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
