Job Description

Overview:

MSM, Meerut, invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Information Technology. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, engaging in research, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic and institutional development of MSM.

Key Responsibilities:

· Teach UG & PG courses in IT, Data Analytics, AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, etc.

· Prepare and update course curriculum and instructional material.

· Supervise student projects, dissertations, and internships.

· Publish research in reputed journals and participate in conferences.

· Contribute to departmental activities, workshops, and accreditation processes.

· Collaborate with industry for projects, training, and placements.

Qualifications:

· Ph.D. in IT/Computer Science/Computer Applications or allied field (preferred/UGC norms).

· Master’s degree (M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent) with strong academic record.

· Teaching, research, or industry experience will be an added advantage.

· Evidence of publications, research papers, or participation in academic activities preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong subject expertise in IT domains such as AI, ML, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Computing.

· Effective teaching, communication, and mentoring skills.

· Research aptitude with innovative teaching methods.

· Ability to integrate IT with management education.
