Job Description

Finance Coordinator & MIS will support finance and governance functions through financial analysis, audit-data preparation, SOP drafting, and MIS support. The role focuses on data preparation, documentation, and analytical support and does not involve statutory filings or regulatory liaison.

Last Date: February 15 2026. The positions will remain open until filled.

Compensation: A salary that is commensurate with market and experience of the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities

A. Finance Coordination & MIS

    • Assist in preparation and consolidation of monthly MIS across multiple projects
    • Compile project-wise financial summaries and variance analysis
    • Support senior finance staff with structured financial information
    • Maintain finance trackers and timelines

B. SOPs, Notes & Documentation

  • Draft, update, and maintain Finance SOPs, process notes, and internal guidelines
  • Prepare structured explanatory notes and summaries for internal review
  • Ensure document version control and organised repositories

C. Compliance & Audit Support (Data Preparation Role)

  • Assist in preparation of financial data and audit schedules for:
  • GST audit
  • FCRA audit
  • 80G / 12A documentation
  • Statutory / Annual audit
  • Extract data from accounting systems and prepare working papers in MS Excel
  • Compile, validate, and organise audit-ready financial information as per checklists
  • Support audit queries by providing accurate data and reconciliations
  • Maintain structured audit folders and working files
  • Statutory filings, certifications, and regulatory correspondence are handled by senior finance staff or external consultants.

D. Analysis & MS Excel-Based Reporting

  • Perform financial analysis using MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
  • Prepare dashboards, trackers, and summaries for decision-making
  • Highlight variances, gaps, and data inconsistencies proactively

Eligibility & Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Management
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience in:
    • Finance coordination / MIS / audit support roles
    • NGO, research, education, or corporate finance environments
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, formulas)
    • MS Word (SOP drafting and structured documentation)

Preferred

  • Experience in non-profit / trust / society accounting environments
  • Exposure to multiple projects / cost centres
  • Prior experience in audit data preparation and working papers
  • Familiarity with internal control documentation and SOPs
