Purpose of Role

To plan and deliver age-appropriate English language instruction for primary school students (Classes I–V) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum, fostering foundational literacy, communication skills, and a love for reading and writing.

CSA – PRT English

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English to Classes I–V as per CBSE curriculum and school academic plan.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids aligned with learning outcomes.
• Build students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through engaging activities.
• Teach phonics, vocabulary, grammar, and basic writing skills.
• Use stories, rhymes, role-play, and visual aids to enhance language learning.
• Assess, evaluate, and record student progress through worksheets, tests, and observations.
• Provide individual attention and remedial support to students where required.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, child-friendly learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ academic progress.
• Integrate ICT tools and interactive teaching methods as appropriate.
• Participate in curriculum planning, trainings, and staff meetings.
• Support school events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
• Maintain academic records, lesson plans, and assessment documentation.
• Follow CBSE norms, child safety guidelines, and school policies.
• Perform additional academic or administrative duties assigned by school management.
