Prefer candidates from the building material industry such as sanitary fittings, roofing sheets, floor and wall tiles, paint, hardware for interiors etc.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development Manager-Projects is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales plans. Key duties include market research, lead generation, creating sales proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with other teams to achieve sales targets. This role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills to develop and expand a company’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

· Prospecting and lead generation:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients through networking, cold calling, and outbound outreach.

· Client relationship management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

· Strategy development:

Analyse local market trends, develop strategic sales plans, and create customized business proposals and presentations to meet client needs.

· Sales and negotiation:

Manage the sales pipeline, negotiate contracts, and close strategic deals to drive revenue growth.

· Cross-functional collaboration:

Work with marketing, product, and sales teams to align outreach strategies and achieve company goals.

· Market analysis:

Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to maintain a competitive edge.

· Reporting and analysis:

Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales progress in a CRM system and provide regular status reports.
