Job Description
The Backup and Storage Administrator will design, implement and maintain backup and storage solutions to ensure data availability and integrity. Responsibilities include configuring and monitoring backups (Veeam, NetBackup, CommVault), managing SAN/NAS arrays, capacity planning, replication, deduplication, and disaster recovery testing. The role troubleshoots failures, performs restores, documents procedures, and coordinates with system and network teams. Required: 3+ years in backup/storage operations, knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, familiarity with storage protocols (iSCSI, NFS), strong scripting and monitoring skills, and on-call availability. Certifications (e.g., VCP, NetApp, Microsoft) are a plus.
