Job Description

The Collection Officer at Green Start Jobs manages and recovers outstanding customer debts. You will contact customers by phone, email and mail to negotiate payment plans, monitor adherence to terms, investigate billing discrepancies and maintain accurate records of all collection activities. You will escalate accounts when necessary, recommend write-offs, prepare activity reports, and work with legal and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes. Compliance with laws such as the FDCPA and achievement of monthly collection targets are essential. The ideal candidate is organized, persistent, and customer-focused, with strong negotiation and record-keeping skills.
