Job Description

Trainee Dialysis Technician at Fresenius Medical Care responsible for setting up and operating haemodialysis machines for patients with kidney failure. Duties include attaching dialyzer and tubing, priming extracorporeal circuits with 0.9% saline, labeling dialyser and blood lines with patient name and ID (excluding single-use), preparing dialysis solutions and mixing bicarbonate, explaining procedures to patients, connecting machines to access sites, monitoring equipment for malfunctions, and maintaining logbooks, forms and registers.
