Job Description
Ford Motor Company is seeking an Operations Buyer to oversee Operational Purchasing activities for the North America Market. The successful candidate will collaborate with the North America Category Implementation Buyer and Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs).
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
2. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
3. Strong background in Commodity Purchasing, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Vendor Development.
4. OEM Experience and 6-10 years of relevant experience.
5. Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
6. Willingness to work late evening shifts.
The role includes managing Stamping Buyer tasks for Exterior Commodities, performing cost analysis, negotiating with suppliers, and identifying cost savings opportunities.
