Job Description
Boring Machine Operator – Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining horizontal and vertical boring machines to produce precise bores and surfaces. Monitor tooling, inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, and adjust machine settings as required. Read blueprints, use micrometers and calipers, and maintain production records. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, perform routine maintenance, and report defects. Requires previous machining experience, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a team. Shift flexibility and basic math skills preferred.
