Job Description
Job Title: STP Operator
Location: Hosur, Tamil Nadu
Company: Envirocare India Pvt Ltd
Experience Required: 1–3 Years
Education: ITI / Diploma / B.Sc. in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to ensure efficient functioning.
- Check and maintain water quality parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, TDS, and DO.
- Inspect and operate pumps, aerators, blowers, valves, filters, and other equipment.
- Handle dosing of chemicals like chlorine, alum, and lime as per requirement.
- Maintain records/logs for flow rates, test results, chemical usage, and plant performance.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and report any abnormalities or breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) standards.
- Supervise sludge handling and maintain hygienic plant conditions.
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of STP technologies like SBR, MBBR, or conventional processes.
- Ability to read meters and understand basic instrumentation.
- Troubleshooting capability for minor equipment issues.
- Willingness to work in shifts and during emergency operations.

Pay: ₹15,00.00 – ₹20,00.00 per month
