Job Description
The SPE-Medical Coding HC role at Cognizant involves accurate coding of healthcare products and services, enhancing billing and reimbursement processes. Ideal candidates will work night shifts in the office, bringing 2 to 4 years of experience in Clinical Coding Revenue Cycle Management and Medical Coding.
Responsibilities include:
- Achieving 100% daily productivity targets.
- Maintaining 98% accuracy in audit reports.
- Scoring 95% in monthly coding assessments.
- Mentoring new colleagues and assisting with technical challenges.
Qualifications: Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems; proficiency in coding software; excellent analytical and communication skills.
Certifications Required: CPC or CCS certification is mandatory.
