Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled English Subtitler for a freelance contract position at Clockwork Captions. Freshers with a competent skillset are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include:
- Formatting and editing English subtitles for audio and grammatical accuracy.
- Creating subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
- Footnoting cultural references and expressions for translators.
- Performing audio fidelity quality checks to ensure subtitles match audio.
- Localizing language for both British and U.S. English releases.
- Manipulating files using proprietary software and ensuring timely delivery.
Availability: Minimum of 15 days each month. You decide your work timings.
