Job Description
Location: Candidates can work from either the Mumbai or Noida office.
Department: Digital & AI / Renewable Energy – TEAM
Job Summary: Avaada is seeking a Meteorologist with expertise in weather modeling and AI/ML to enhance generation forecasting, scheduling, and power trading for renewable energy assets like wind and solar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop weather-driven models for accurate forecasting.
- Integrate NWP and real-time data into AI/ML prediction tools.
- Provide weather risk insights to trading and scheduling teams.
Requirements:
- Degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science; AI/ML knowledge preferred.
- Experience with forecasting models (e.g., WRF, GFS) and Python or R.
