Job Description
Ophthalmic Technician — Provide technical support in eye care clinics by assisting ophthalmologists with patient exams and diagnostic testing. Perform vision screening, visual acuity, autorefractor, tonometry, visual fields, OCT, and retinal imaging; prepare patients, maintain instruments, and ensure accurate documentation. Monitor sterilization, manage supplies, and collaborate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, certification or training in ophthalmic technology preferred, strong communication, attention to detail, and familiarity with electronic medical records.
