Overall Responsibility
Support the Assistant Manager Engineering/ Engineering Manager in managing the Mechanical, Plumbing installations & all Civil maintenance within the facility.
Responsible for preparation of critical spares list for all installations as per manufacturer’s recommendations and plan for the inventory where the maintenance is carried out with in-house teams.
Implement and oversee the pre-emptive maintenance programme to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment.
Assist the Assistant Manager Engineering/ Engineering Manager to review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations.
Maintain the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for all M & E installations.
Manage Downtime/ Breakdowns.
Arrange for ad-hoc M&E set ups as per the client requirement from time to time.
Ensure the contractors follow the house rules at all times and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client.
Assume AFM responsibilities if need arises.
Responsible to handle the shifts independently on all Engineering related matters.
Daily Walk around of the Facility
Meet or exceed best practice in provision of services through contracts
Establishment and adherence to policies & procedures, compliance deadlines for each of the tasks as advised by the Operation Manager.
Effective management of the team.
To formulate the yearly “Environment management plan” as per the ESG goal of Infosys.
To formulate the yearly “M &E objectives and Management plan” As per Infosys BCMS policy.
To maintain consistency and achieve 99.5% of timely AHD closure in related area.
Track the usage of tools (Annual maintenance contract) as per defined scope.
To ensure that all maintenance related schedules & shut down in consultations with OEM & Infosys Limited are followed.
Daily inspection of logbooks, history card, checklist, escalation charts, OCP & PPM schedules etc. for a better management of engineering systems.
Records Management
To ensure Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly & Yearly records are prepared and sent to the facility manager for all PHE related activities
To update & maintain all records on a daily basis (Logbooks, History Cards, Equipment details, Service Reports, Incident Reports etc.)
Reporting Management
Daily Report –Consumption report (water), daily work schedule, daily permit tracker, shift handover and takeover report.
Weekly report – Major highlights, Weekly R&M tracker.
Monthly Report –Water dashboard, Monthly MMR, fortnightly stock report, Water bill certification, Major works carried out report & Equipment Status Report, Statutory Compliance Report, All Field service report (AMC), Drinking water analysis.
