Job Description
The Junior Transcriptionist (Transcriber) at TransPerfect transcribes English audio/video, proofreads outputs, and formats subtitles and documents. You will liaise with team leads, coordinate with quality staff, edit machine or vendor transcripts, and research terminology. Tasks include typing from audio/video, data entry, subtitle captioning, and correcting inaudible segments. Candidates must type 60+ WPM, have excellent English (written and verbal), strong attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office and transcription tools (e.g., Express Scribe). Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 1–5 years’ transcription experience required. Be prepared to follow project parameters and complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
