Job Description
The Commis I at The Shalimar Hotel prepares and presents high-quality desserts, pastries and confectionery under the Pastry Chef’s guidance. Responsibilities include producing cakes and plated desserts to recipes, supporting new dessert development, maintaining storage, hygiene and equipment, monitoring inventory, and training junior pastry staff. Applicants should have 1–2 years’ pastry or bakery experience, culinary or pastry training preferred, strong baking techniques, creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen. Full-time role with rotating shifts, weekend and holiday availability. Salary ₹17,00–₹20,00 per month. Work location: Mumbai 40036; in-person. Food provided and hotel benefits.
