Job Description
Mapmygenome is seeking a detail-oriented Accessioning Officer to manage specimen processing and ensure compliance with our standard operating procedures (SOP). The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, accessioning, and handling specimens according to established guidelines, entering donor information into our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS/LIS), and maintaining proper storage conditions. You will also manage sample outsourcing, perform statistics on sample receipts, and oversee quality control programs. Additional tasks include maintaining supplies, covering specimen collection duties, and ensuring waste segregation complies with regulatory standards.
